Job description

Machine Operator Ajax, ON

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operator to join a thriving manufacturing team in central Ajax. If you have a background in production, construction, or mechanical work and want a stable role with a clear path to a permanent position, we want to hear from you.

The Schedule:
Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Wage: $21.00/hour


Weekends: Every Saturday, and Sunday OFF.

Location: Central Ajax (Near Hwy 401). Note: Accessible by bus, but a personal vehicle is recommended .

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour.
Potential Wage increase to $22.00/hour after 3-6 month review

Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the production team, your day-to-day will involve:

Machine Operation: Setting up, running, and monitoring machines to produce materials to exact specs.

Quality Control: Performing daily inspections to ensure every product meets high standards.

Material Prep: Setting up raw materials for the production line.

Physical Activity: Handling materials (lifting up to 40 lbs) and standing for the duration of the shift.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for candidates who are mechanically inclined and exceptionally reliable.

Experience: 1–2 years as a Machine Operator or Assembler.

Also open to: Candidates with "heavy labor" backgrounds (Construction, Roofing, Landscaping, or Automotive Mechanics).

Education: High School Diploma completed.

Mindset: A "team player" attitude and a genuine desire for long-term employment.

Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and a sharp eye for detail.
