About Our Client
Randstad Canada has partnered with a premier, established provider of specialized event technology, commercial rental infrastructure, and live production logistics. Partnering with major corporate clients and high-profile productions across North America, our client’s reputation is built on high-precision execution and flawless equipment readiness.

Operating out of a modern, high-volume distribution center, their facility houses millions of dollars in specialized technical inventory. On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to direct daily floor operations, run a structured operation, and maintain peak efficiency across shipping and receiving workflows.

Advantages
Market Leader: Join a long-standing, financially secure organization with a proven history of steady growth and stability.

Organized & Modern Facility: Work in a clean, highly structured warehouse environment handling premium, specialized equipment.

High-Impact Floor Role: Direct oversight of daily floor operations, freight logistics, and inventory throughput with real influence over workflow optimization.

Convenient Commute: Centrally located on major GTA transport and highway routes with dedicated on-site parking.

Responsibilities
Floor Leadership & Execution: Direct daily warehouse operations, assign tasks to department leads, and manage floor capacity to meet strict customer turnaround deadlines.

Shipping, Receiving & Transport Logistics: Manage daily loading dock operations, overseeing freight carriers, trailer trucks, and dedicated fleet vehicles safely and accurately.

Process & Accountability: Enforce warehouse standard operating procedures, maintain operational discipline, and keep floor staff accountable to performance goals.

Inventory Control & Order Staging: Collaborate with internal inventory teams to oversee barcode tracking, cycle counts, pre-pack verification, and stock accuracy.

Resource & Schedule Planning: Forecast weekly floor workloads, coordinate staffing needs during peak operational periods, and align with internal logistics partners.

Safety & Facility Care: Maintain clean floor layout structures, uphold WHMIS/safety protocols, and ensure proper equipment handling at all times.

Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of supervisory or floor leadership experience within warehouse operations, specialized distribution, or 3PL logistics.

Industry Alignment: Background in rental equipment logistics, high-value asset fulfillment, live events, or fast-paced technical distribution is highly desirable.

Software Proficiency: Experience utilizing WMS, barcode scanning, or specialized rental/inventory management platforms.

Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Counterbalance & Reach) with hands-on material handling experience.

Operational Drive: Strong understanding of time-sensitive fulfillment, strict staging schedules, and high-integrity inventory control.

Leadership Style: Clear communicator, organized, decisive under tight deadlines, and adept at maintaining team focus during peak production seasons.
