BC Eco Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our operations in OK Falls, BC. POSITION BENEFITS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy equipment
  • Perform road deactivation and reactivation work according to project plans
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards
  • Read and interpret maps, plans, and layouts to complete work accurately
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
  • Complete work as directed by site supervisors and project requirements
  • Assist with general job setup, site cleanup, and material movement as needed
  • Uphold company policies, core values, and a strong safety culture at all times

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing road deactivation and reactivation
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong ability to read and understand maps, site plans, and layouts
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety
  • Experience operating additional heavy equipment is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence
  • Physically fit and capable of working on uneven terrain and in outdoor environments
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed
