Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be based out of our North Bay, Ontario Office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate and perform design tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting in the design of infrastructure projects including watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, grading, and storm water management
  • Support the design project manager to liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes
  • Collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets
  • Collaborate on fundamentals of detail design of Civil/Siteworks infrastructure work and project management
  • Oversee, document, review, and assess contractor’s compliance with contractual requirements
  • Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments for work performed
  • Perform Contract Administrator and Inspection tasks in preparing various site reports

Required Qualifications include:

  • Professional Engineer designation ( Or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Ontario is required
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.

The salary range for this role is between $60K-$75K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
