In this role, you will play a vital part in enabling seamless project execution across the entire project lifecycle—from setup through to closeout. Operating within established operational guidelines, you will be accountable for cost tracking, purchase order (PO) management, vendor coordination, and accurate monthly financial reporting. As a fully qualified coordinator, you may also be tasked with providing oversight, guidance, and quality review for the work products of junior project coordination staff.

Key Responsibilities
PO & Financial Management: Manage purchase orders, track project commitments and expenditures, process vendor invoices, and ensure strict alignment with project budgets and forecasts.

Cost Tracking & Reporting: Oversee accurate cost tracking and generate timely, high-quality monthly financial and status reports.

Stakeholder & Field Coordination: Serve as a reliable bridge between field teams, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and internal business partners to ensure smooth project execution.

Vendor & Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate with vendors and supply chain teams to track procurement deliverables, materials, and service contracts.

Data Integrity & Process Alignment: Partner closely with the CSC Business Analyst to maintain data quality, uphold reporting consistency, and drive continuous process improvements.

Project Lifecycle Support: Lead project setup and closeout activities, ensuring all documentation, records, and closeout packages meet internal standards.

Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Review work products generated by junior project coordinators to ensure accuracy, compliance, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
Required: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related), Business Administration, or a related field.

Asset: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification, or eligibility for registration with a professional body (e.g., ASET, PEO, EGBC).

Experience & Skills
Experience: 3–5+ years of direct project coordination experience, ideally within gas pipelines, energy infrastructure, or heavy civil construction.

Construction Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of construction processes, field operations, and safety standards within pipeline/gas operations.

Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in project accounting concepts, cost management, PO administration, and variance analysis.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).

Communication & Mentorship: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
