JOB SYNOPSIS:

For individuals with a multitude of talents and the ability to multitask, this may be for you! Your day will not be boring and will bring your talents of guest relations, cash handling, menu planning, prep work and cooking to the forefront with the ultimate goal of providing an exceptional guest experience.

In case you didn’t know, Glory Lodge is a little satellite lodge to our main Day Lodge, located on the backside of Whitewater and near the bottom of the Glory Chair. Glory Lodge is known for our great menu and relaxed cozy atmosphere.

None

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination of morning prep list completion and front line set up.
• Ensuring customers receive friendly and efficient service.
• Menu planning, including specials, soups, salads and catering events.
• Constant monitoring of prepped food levels and supplies.
• Preparing prep list according to anticipated volumes.
• Completing freezer pull list according to anticipated volumes.
• Ensuring that temperature and sanitizer logs are completed daily.
• Ensuring Whitewater Food Safe Policy is followed by all kitchen staff.
• Implement all risk management procedures as per Whitewater Ski Resort.
• Keep a clean, organized and safe working area at all times.
• Seling tickets to guests
• Being a guest ambassador to events and other offerings on the hill.
• Ensure knowledge and understanding of (but not limited to) Department Manuals, CDPP, Employee Handbook to ensure continued success in Whitewater’s safety culture.
• Cash handling and cash outs.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

• Cooking experience is preferred; however, not a requirement as training and support will be provided!
• A current Criminal Records check will be required as part of the hiring process.
• Serving it right certificate required

• Mature and reliable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple functions and activities.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
