Job description

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and coordinate all roofing and sheet metal field operations, including supervising foremen, crew leads, and the Sheet Metal Manager.

  • Plan and execute daily and weekly crew schedules, job sequencing, labour allocation, and logistics, adjusting for weather, staffing, and site conditions.

  • Ensure jobs are properly planned, staffed, equipped, and executed, serving as the primary escalation point for operational issues.

  • Oversee material ordering and delivery to ensure accurate quantities, timely supply, and minimal waste while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

  • Manage, mentor, and support foremen and crew leads, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and day-to-day HR matters.

  • Promote training, certification, apprenticeship programs, and ongoing career development to build a skilled, reliable, and engaged workforce.

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) preferred

  • Strong experience in roofing, sheet metal, or construction operations

  • Proven leadership of field crews and supervisors

  • Excellent planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills

  • Solid understanding of labour productivity and margins

  • Clear communicator with a hands-on leadership style

  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities.


Salary/Rate Range: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
