Position Details: Monday to Friday -3:00pm to 11:00pm at $20.40 per hour

General Duties

  • Dusting/Cleaning/Sanitizing/Disinfecting vertical and horizontal surfaces and fixtures
  • Floor sweeping, vacuuming, dry mopping and wet mopping
  • Emptying and removing garbage and recyclables
  • Using tools and equipment appropriate for the tasks assigned
  • Lifting and moving furniture and equipment for the purposes of cleaning or floor maintenance
  • Assisting with loading, unloading and delivering cleaning supplies, consumables and equipment
  • Assisting supervisors with tracking, ordering and replenishing inventory of cleaning products and consumables
  • Keeping CCS cell phone, answering calls and checking emails as well as logging e-base to be update with logs, inspections, and reports.
  • Providing confirmation of hours report as per payroll schedule and communicating any issues, concerns and requests to supervisor/manager
  • Communicating with afternoon staff as well as school Principal/Vice principal and following up events, projects, and regular requests/concerns
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with clients and supervisors orally and through written text in order to fulfill client needs
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail in order to thoroughly clean facilities
  • Exercise judgement and discretion when in the presence of sensitive client information
  • Previous cleaning experience an asset
  • Background check

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 30 lbs
  • Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
  • Able to bend, stretch, lift, pull and carry, climb stairs
