Job description

Client & Project Leavitt Machinery (leading material handling equipment dealer, multi-site across Canada/US) is rolling out Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to replace their old AX 2012 system. They need someone focused purely on building the training content that will help users adopt the new system smoothly.

What the Role Actually Involves (day-to-day)

  • Create role-based SOPs, quick reference guides, job aids, step-by-step procedures, and training materials based on finalized business processes
  • Work hand-in-hand with SMEs and process owners to pull out accurate process details and turn them into clear, practical content
  • Build and maintain consistent templates/standards for all training deliverables
  • Convert SME notes, process maps, system walkthroughs, and design docs into user-friendly materials (no heavy e-learning required unless you want to bring it in)
  • Focus on making everything adoption-ready: simple, consistent, error-reducing, and easy for end-users to follow

What They’re Looking For

  • Solid experience creating training materials and SOPs for ERP go-lives (D365 F&O / AX experience is a big plus, but other ERPs like SAP, Workday, etc. count)
  • Strong at working directly with SMEs to clarify and document processes quickly
  • Execution-oriented - can produce high-volume, high-quality content under tight timelines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced project environment
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Microsoft Task Recorder, Camtasia, or similar tools

Logistics

  • Contract: 12-18 months
  • Location: Mostly remote / hybrid - only occasional on-site in Coquitlam, BC (51 Leeder St) for SME workshops or validation (1–2 days/week max, very flexible)
  • Start: ASAP (they’re ready to move fast)
