The Role: This position provides support and backup to the Manager, Exercise and Fall Prevention to keep client information and exercise class scheduling up to date.
They assist with planning meetings, attending community events, and leading SMART exercise classes.

Responsibilities Works collaboratively with the Manager, Exercise and Falls Prevention and team members Sets up, leads and administers gentle exercise classes; in class and/or virtually Provides one on one instruction to clients; in homes and/or virtually Provides back up to ensure coverage for all SMART exercise programs Schedules and coordinates the in-home exercise programs with clients and staff/volunteers Answers phone and client inquiries, redirects calls Communicates schedules with clients, volunteers and staff Enters and maintains client information and attendance data in AlayaCare Acts as Caredove liaison for exercise and falls prevention programs Assists with special projects, community events, presentations, fairs, etc.
as required Education and Experience High school diploma Valid G or G2 Driver’s License and daily access to a safe, licensed and reliable vehicle for business-related travel Satisfactory police records check for the vulnerable sector Current First Aid/CPR A Certification Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (CCAA) Senior Fitness Instructor Certificate or equivalent Ability to speak languages other than English an asset Experience teaching group fitness classes for older adults and/or adults with disabilities, or specialized classes for chronic conditions (i.e.
Osteoporosis, Parkinson Disease, Diabetes, Osteoarthritic etc.) is an asset Working Hours and Environment Willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends(community engagement) Extensive computer and telephone use Willing and able to work occasionally from a home office Application Information Please submit resume and cover letter highlighting the unique attributes you bring to the position by noon on May 14, 2026.
