Job description

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for providing service to production and all other functional areas at the manufacturing site. This position requires the individual to complete repair and maintenance of production-related equipment and systems. The Maintenance Mechanic shall be professionally competent and qualified to operate safely.

Location: Simcoe
Role: Millwright

3 shift rotation that is bi weekly
6:30- 2:30
2:30-10:30
10:30 to 6:30

Payrate: 43.79
0.75 for afternoons
0.90 on nights

Responsibilities
Diagnose machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
Repair and capture appropriate details of breakdowns
Perform scheduled Preventative and Predictive maintenance services
Fill out logs and maintain professional communication with Supervisors, Managers, and equipment operators



Qualifications
Post-secondary education and valid Millwright ticket (433A) in good standing (Ontario)
Experience working as part of an extended team within the Manufacturing sector
Proven mechanical aptitude
Experience with pneumatics/hydraulics and related control circuits
Experience with basic PLC diagnostics
Ability to work shift patterns 24/7
Welding experience is an asset
