In this vital role within our client's manufacturing & logistics operations, you will manage, organize, and fulfill order orders for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical contractors.

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation rate of $22.00 per hour with a consistent schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that this facility is situated in a location in Simcoe with no public bus route available; therefore, candidates must have reliable personal transportation to commute to and from work daily.
While this position in Simcoe, Ontario, primarily requires English communication to support local operations and regional contractor inquiries, bilingualism in English and French is always considered a valuable asset within our diverse manufacturing & logistics workforce and client network.

Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare electrical supplies for residential, commercial, and industrial contractor orders.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify physical stock against packing slips and purchase orders, and record all inventory movements accurately.
• Safely handle, store, and organize inventory including wire and cable reels, lighting systems, distribution panels, specialized hand/power tools, and automation hardware.
• Operate warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely in a busy manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse floor, ensuring all stock locations and walkways remain safe and clear.
• Provide courteous customer service at the order counter when local contractors arrive to pick up scheduled orders.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with routine stock audits to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining safe material handling practices at all times.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate, material handler, or order picker, preferably within electrical wholesaling, industrial distribution, or building supplies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical contractor supplies (wire/cable, lighting, distribution, tools, and automation).
• Reliable personal transportation is required, as there is no public bus route available to this Simcoe location.
• Prior customer service or counter sales experience is considered a strong asset.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Qualifications
In-depth product knowledge of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical supplies, including lighting, wire, cable, distribution systems, tools, and automation components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse inventory management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail for picking complex part numbers and verifying quantity counts.
• Customer service mindset with effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight daily shipping and order-fulfillment deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing & logistics setting.
