We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Comox, BC.

What we offer

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
  • Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules closely
  • Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
  • Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
  • Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
  • Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld Cash
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

  • Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
  • Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
  • Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
  • Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
  • Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines
