ERM is hiring Junior Field Archaeologist's to join our global consulting firm as part of our archaeology and cultural heritage team in Burnaby, British Columbia . The successful candidate will work with our team to complete archaeological field survey's. This is a full-time, limited-term role for a duration of 9 months, renewable .
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee field studies , lead field reconnaissance, field surveys, and excavation for archaeological studies.
- Visually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resources.
- Compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements.
- Performing other duties as assigned or required.
- Represent ERM through communications and at meetings with provincial / territorial and federal agencies.
REQUIREMENTS :
For the Field Archaeologist position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $ 53,207 - $ 63,207 , $25.58 / hr - $30.39 / hr limited-term, non-exempt. An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee's fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term / Flexforce employees are NOT bonus eligible).
