We are looking for a dedicatedEstimator to be an integral part of the daily operationsat our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.

In this role, you willreview and conduct pre-assessment of auto repair estimates in line with company and auto body shop standards and guidelines.

What You’ll Do:

• Control the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines

• Complete Total Loss evaluations through market and Autosource search

• Conduct remote appraisals

• Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer

• Act as an active team member who encourages a collaborative working environment focusing on the customer and what matters to them

• Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals

What You’ll Bring:

• Post-secondary education

• 2-5 years auto estimating experience including Repair planning experience

• Strong experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs, and prior estimating experience

• Familiar with industry standard Estimating Systems

• Good technical aptitude with databases/systems

• Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair procedures

• Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies

• Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Commit to an environment of continuous improvement

• Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset, constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues

• Excellent customer service skills

• Can work to and positively contribute to our organizational culture and values

What You’ll get:

• The salary band for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
