Environmental Project Engineer

Environmental Project Manager

Wastewater, Stormwater, Waste Management, Landfill, Remediation Technologies

Salary : $90-$110K, negotiable higher based on experience

Our client is a rapidly expanding engineering consulting firm that offers a fun, challenging and supportive environment for their people to achieve their professional goals.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

P.Eng designation in British Columbia
5 to 10 years of experience within several of the following areas : Water / Wastewater treatment plant design and operations, Stormwater Management, Landfill Closure, Design of remedial systems for Contaminated sites and NPRI reporting,
Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
Experience working in Environmental consulting or industry related experience
Ability to interpret and apply environmental engineering principals, regulations and technical guidelines to area of specialization
Ability to work under broad direction from senior engineers and use independent judgement to problem solve. Ability to identify opportunities and challenges to projects.
Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
Effectively manage project timelines / deadlines
Energized to supervise, coach and mentor junior engineers as required
Proficiency using MS Office
Valid BC Driver's License
