This position is full-time, in-person at our office located on the beautiful inner harbour in Victoria, BC.

What you will do

Participate in the month-end close with the accounting team
Process accounts payable invoices and payments
Complete revenue recognition and customer invoicing
Review and assist in employee payroll processing
Assist in the execution of the month-end close, account reconciliations, and maintenance of journal entry logs
Prepare monthly assigned account reconciliations. Ensure that all accounting departmental records are accurate and well-organized
Initiate recommendations for improvement and efficiencies
Provide analysis as requested
Assist in other projects as assigned

Qualities & experience you bring:

Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance
2-3 years of related experience, preferably in tax preparation, audit preparation, and analysis
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork, collaboration, flexibility, and proactiveness
"Roll-up sleeves" approach in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
Commitment to excellence, impeccable ethical standards, and integrity
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000

Compensation will be determined by factors including knowledge and skills, role-specific qualifications, market location, and experience
