Commercial Lines Marketer

Location : Fraser Valley, BC

Are you an experienced Commercial Lines professional who values long-term relationships over high-volume transactions? This role offers the opportunity to join a stable, well-established brokerage with a strong reputation and a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

We’re looking for someone who understands the ins and outs of commercial insurance and takes pride in providing thoughtful, thorough service to both clients and carriers. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and receive training in specialty areas such as inland marine, aviation, and other niche commercial lines .

What You’ll Do

Prepare and manage submissions, proposals, binders, and endorsements

Handle day-to-day client and producer inquiries with professionalism and care

Analyze client coverages, exposures, and loss history to determine risk requirements

Market new submissions and renewals

Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carriers

Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service to long-standing accounts

Support the team with special projects or social media initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Level 2 BC General Insurance License

5+ years of commercial insurance experience (brokerage experience required; not from direct-writing companies)

Solid understanding of commercial products and coverage

Experience using Epic Systems

Comfortable working directly with carriers and building professional relationships

Strong organizational and time management skills

Team-oriented, open, and accountable personality with a positive attitude

Willingness to take time to learn the company’s accounts, business specialties, and client base

Some personal lines or auto experience is an asset
