Job description
Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a team-oriented environment. If you have experience operating backhoes and enjoy a mix of equipment operation and hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to join a growing company known for excellence in landscape construction.
Title: Backhoe Operator.
Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hamilton, ON.
Pay: $24-26.00 per hour (based on experience).

Vacancy: 1.

Job Duties:
  • Safely operate backhoe equipment at both the soil production facility and construction sites.
  • Assist in producing soil blends and maintaining soil and blending material inventory.
  • Transport and route soil inventory as needed.
  • Support general vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production and construction timelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Proven experience operating a backhoe.
  • Ability to perform physical labour as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work weekends as required.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, reliable work ethic.
