The Opportunity for You

The Technical Sales Representative position with KEYENCE Canada is an opportunity to learn consultative, application-based sales. We provide an established continuous training and mentoring program to develop the knowledge and skills for success.

Our sales professionals work in a highly professional and fast-paced environment, with an average of 2 in-office days per week. You will visit manufacturers and clients onsite within an assigned territory. We offer face-to-face consultations to help solve customers’ critical quality control, reliability, research and development applications. KEYENCE products are highly technical; you will receive training to become an expert, solving applications and conducting proactive sales consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide technical consultation and service to customers to help solve their applications using KEYENCE products in various industries. Advise and promote selection of the most appropriate products / services for their application.
• Travel to customer locations 3 days per week and successfully sell products into a wide variety of manufacturing and related industries.
• Provide technical consultation and service to customers to help solve their applications, selecting and promoting the proper company products / services for their application.

Position requires the ability to lift and carry 30-90 lbs of demonstration equipment, and to work in customer facilities with or without reasonable onsite accommodations. Incumbents must be flexible to manufacturing environments and abide by safety regulations in offices and customer locations, including wearing safety equipment when required.
