Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
Experience:
- 2+ years' of hands‑on shop floor engineering experience.
- 2+ years' of data analysis competency using tools such as Minitab and QualityWorX; able to analyze large data sets and drive conclusions.
- Practical experience in root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions (8D/5‑Why).

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Experience with programs such as: Factory Information System (FIS), Qlik Business Intelligence (QLIK), Quality Leadership System – Engine Manufacturing (QLSEM), and Quality Leadership System (QLS).
- Demonstrated ability to mentor production personnel and communicate technical information clearly (written and verbal).
- Lean and Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred); proficiency with Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain (5S), Kanban, Poka-yoke (error-proofing), Value Stream Mapping, and Single-Minute Exchange of Die.
- Adept knowledge of Quality Operating System requirements and the ability to enforce standards.
- Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Production Part Approval Process, Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Measurement Systems Analysis, and visual factory management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and statistical/quality software (Minitab, QualityWorX).
- Supervisory experience as an Engineering lead.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $ 74,000.00 - $124,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
