Architectural panels, Doors & WindowsLocation: Brampton - Mississauga, ON areaSalary: 75K-85K base; benefitsPermanent Full time 5 days on site Clear Criminal Check RequiredOur client is a leading manufacturer of custom-built industrial equipment — architectural panels, doors and windows and has a job open for Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer in the Brampton - Mississauga, ON area. Candidates will work closest to the manufacturing and improve processes. This is on site 5 days a week. This is a role for those who have independently and proactively looked for projects to improve costs, efficiencies, improve plant layout and set up processes.

Conduct labour & time studies
Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, waste, line balancing and process improvement
Proven track record of showing savings, implementing process improvement mindset and working with frontline operations to lead the change.

Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer
is a hands-on role to conduct time studies, optimize efficiencies and reduce costs. You will define process flow, plant layout, line set up, perform time and labour studies, define standards, write and revise SOPs. This is a very manual process, and thepany is starting its journey towards Lean and Continuous Improvement, hence your passion to drive change is important. This is a role-up-the-sleeve environment.Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Industrial Engineer will ideally have 1–2 years’ experience in CUSTOM-made products / made-to-order. A degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering or similar is highly preferred; established experience in improving processes, reduce waste, bringing in process improvement mindset is a MUST. Excellent Englishmunication skills are a MUST ; an ability to work independently / in teams is a MUST.
