Manufacturing Engineer (CNC)

SUMMARY

Our client, a well-established Canadian manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, refinement, and production of innovative manufactured products in the North Milton, ON area. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to drive product development, custom solutions, manufacturing improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative hybrid work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Process or Industrial Engineering

• Strong experience with SolidWorks and 3D product design and modelling.

• Experience creating and interpreting complex technical drawings.

• Exposure to CNC programming and manufacturing processes.

• Experience supporting custom-engineered products and special-order manufacturing.

• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the manufacturing lifecycle of new and existing products from concept through production.

• Develop, refine, and improve manufacturing processes, product designs, and production methods.

• Create and maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, assembly instructions, and related manufacturing records.

• Develop 3D models and design solutions using SolidWorks and other engineering software.

• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical and manufacturing challenges.

• Support custom product development, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist with prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.

• Participate in new product development projects and support successful product launches.

• Ensure designs and processes meet applicable quality, safety, and industry standards.
