Quality Inspector, Level 1

This is an entry level Quality opportunity that can lead to advancement within the organization.

About Linamar

Linamar Corporation is a Canadian global manufacturing company, offering stability and advancement opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

·Perform first off inspections, receiving inspections, and in process inspections

·Assist in product and LPA audits

·Utilize manual gauging and operate CMM as required

·Inspect incoming material per receiving inspection requirements

·Sorting of product based on visual aids

·Completion of necessary forms and paperwork

Minimum Requirements

·Completion of secondary school or equivalent

·Previous experience with measuring equipment, such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges

·Knowledge of SPC and ability to read blueprints

Desired Characteristics

·Able to work in a fast paced environment

·Able to perform tasks independently under direct supervision.

·Ability to work all rotating shifts

·Ability to work overtime as required

·Must be willing to learn
