Job descriptionOversee all on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Lead, mentor, and manage site teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to achieve project goals. Develop and enforce project schedules, ensuring milestones are met. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and construction standards. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations. Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality control measures, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Manage site inspections, approvals, and documentation to maintain project integrity Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada 10-15 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction. Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. Working for one of Canada's Top GC Company in Edmonton Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in construction management software and tools is an asset. A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
