Job descriptionCompletion of a College certification for Truck & Transport Ability to lift and move a maximum 50 lbs., (or in accordance with provincial workplace health & safety standards) Willing and able to continue training. Overview
Join to apply for the Cummins Diesel Technician role at The Bayview Group. Bayview Kenworth is a full Parts; Sales & Service Dealer Group for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction Equipment. Bayview has 9 locations throughout Atlantic Canada while continuously looking for growth opportunities. We are currently seeking a Cummins certified technician, for our Bathurst New Brunswick location.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of X15 engines; from time to time also may include power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems and suspension systems.
- Knowledge and ability to navigate Insite.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize EDS.
- Ability to write proper stories for Customer and Warranty work, explaining the repair.
- Ability to understand and follow SRT.
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
- Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
- Complete technical reports from different manufacturers, in a timely accurate manner.
- Available to work covering the After-hours Service call for emergencies.
- Ability to work in a team environment and present themselves in a professional manner with a positive cooperative attitude.
- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
