Job description
Position Title:HVAC Apprentice TechnicianStatus:Permanent, Full-TimeLocation: Kingston, ONCompensation:$26.76Overview of RoleOur client is seeking an HVAC Apprentice Technicianto join their Kingston team, who is open to on-going growth opportunities within the organization. Our client offers permanent employment, competitive wages and bonus structures, predictable and stable work schedule, and fully paid tuition for eligible team members.Your Day-to-Day:
- Responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment, accessory items, for residential customers
- General and detailed inspections of all types of appliances for residential users
- To ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance
- Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate
- Adhere to all safety rules
- High School Diploma, minimum requirement
- Must be an installer or technician
- Must have Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license and 2 years of HVAC experience
- Must be registered in the apprenticeship program
- Must be accepted by OCOT and keep up all fees, required licenses, and progress in a timely manner
- Must have demonstrated a strong of technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles
- Must have a valid full G Driver’s License
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (ie. Electronics/ electricity/pressures)
