Support Worker Opportunity at Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton For over 35 years, Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton has been dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive, and accessible programs for young children and their families. We operate over 27 full-day early learning and childcare centres across the Greater Hamilton Area, offering services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with extended before and after school care. Who We’re Looking For We’re searching for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children! This role will focus on supporting children with physical, behavioural, and mental health needs. As a Support Worker, you’ll be working at our Lincoln Alexander for 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday 7 : 00AM- 8 : 30AM & 2 : 30PM-6 : 00PM under the guidance of the Supervisor. This is a permanent part time position. The hourly rate will be $20.71 per hour as per the collective agreement (including wage grants) Why Work with Us? You will : Work closely with program staff to implement classroom and child management techniques Assist with documentation and updates on Individual Support Plans (ISPs) Collaborate in alignment with How Does Learning Happen? to ensure a holistic and supportive environment for each child Join Us and Make a Difference!
