Introduction
Join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our database systems. We are looking for an experienced professional to ensure our databases are secure, efficient, and reliable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert Database administration experience, e.g., Oracle, Client Azure SQL, Synapse, and Mainframe (IMS & DB2) databases.
- Extensive experience with large-scale database systems development, capacity planning, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database development, e.g., stored procedure, PL/SQL, PL/I, Cobol, Assembler.
- Experience with Client Azure technologies, including storage account, file share, Azure key vault, Azure portal, Azure monitoring tools.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Experience with Mainframe z/OS Operating system, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with IMS/DB2 to Oracle replication.
- Experience with database automation scripts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Participate in the review of project and maintenance release artefacts.
- Prepare and implement database changes according to design.
- Promote database changes through Development, Integration Testing, QA, UAT, Production environments.
- Maintain, administrate, and tune the performance of databases.
- Design and write data loading and/or conversion scripts/stored procedures.
