Overview

We are seeking AWS Data Engineers to join our team. As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's data infrastructure on the AWS platform. The ideal consultant will have experience in the delivery of Finance and Risk projects or programs.

Location: Canada (Hybrid/Remote)

Status: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
• Create and maintain scripts to automate data processing, monitoring, and reporting tasks
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
• Strong proficiency in Python or SQL programming languages
• Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker and EMR is a plus
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The Finance Transformation Program has 3 major pillars:

• Management Reporting moving from on-premise to Cloud
• Creating necessary data feeds to Anaplan to support forecasting.
• Creating necessary data feeds to Axiom to support Regulatory Reporting.
