Overview :
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is recruiting for a Senior Engineer, Integrity Management and Quality Management to join the team in either Calgary or Sherwood Park, AB offices. This position reports to the Manager, Integrity & Risk Assurance in the Technical Services Unit (TSU), part of Pembina’s Corporate Services.
On behalf of Pembina’s Business Units, TSU manages a comprehensive integrity management program, which includes Facility Integrity, Pipeline Integrity, Geotechnical, Corrosion Control, Asset Management, Product Quality and Measurement, Geographical Information System, Integrity Project Execution, and Automation Services. TSU provides leading technical expertise that optimizes performance and minimizes operational and project risk.
This role will be responsible for providing engineering and quality management support to Pipeline Integrity maintenance activities.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to :
- Support Pembina’s safety culture of "Zero by Choice" and the “Life Saving Rules”. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com / safety;
- Work with the Integrity Project Management and Execution teams to review and approve engineering designs for Pipeline Integrity maintenance projects;
- Act as the Responsible Engineer for designs / drawings, and validate third party engineering contractor work;
- Complete drawings and designs for pipeline maintenance projects where applicable;
- Ensure that internal company Construction and Integrity Specifications are adhered to in the design phase;
- Complete requests for information from third party contractors;
- Review, provide subject matter expertise and act as the Responsible Member for Specification Deviations;
- Review, update and create Pipeline Integrity Construction and Engineering Specifications and Standards as required;
- Develop engineering decision records as required;
- Participate in internal and external audits as required; and
- Support and participate an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications :
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary or Sherwood Park, AB.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
