Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and complete comprehensive test plans and test cases using tools like Selenium and JIRA.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionality and design effective testing strategies.
  • Automate regression and functional tests using programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Track and document software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Ensure continuous integration and deployment processes are adhered to using tools like Jenkins.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years Quality Engineer experience.
  • Experience with software testing tools and automation frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses, if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI.
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL for data validation.
  • Understanding of QA methodologies and standard processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary range is expected to be between

$69,525.00 CAD - $115,875.00 CAD
