What you must have :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
Microsoft Azure, CDMA, TOGAF or ITIL certifications
10 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or enterprise data management roles
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data models, governance frameworks, and architectural standards in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Proven ability to lead data initiatives in ambiguous or evolving organizational contexts.
Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), metadata management, and data lifecycle practices.
Experience designing data architectures that support both operational and analytical workloads.
Proficiency with Microsoft data technologies, including data modeling and integration within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., SQL Server, Power BI, Microsoft Purview).
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (e.g., data lakes, data factories, storage, and analytics services).
Knowledge of data security and privacy practices, including encryption, masking, and role-based access control.
Familiarity with data integration and orchestration tools, preferably within Microsoft or comparable cloud environments.
Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
Skilled in facilitating architectural discussions, design reviews, and governance workshops.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-relevant language.
Experience working with legal, compliance, and privacy teams to align data practices with regulatory requirements.
