This role is focused on designing high-performance data warehouse and data lake solutions using the Microsoft Azure Stack. You will be responsible for determining data flow, optimizing database performance, and translating complex business needs into executable technical work packages. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining enterprise data models and ensuring the seamless integration of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Documentation: Expand documentation of business processes relative to available data; maintain a comprehensive data dictionary.

Testing & QA: Define and execute test plans (Unit, System, UAT) across the development lifecycle to ensure functionality and security.

Collaboration: Coordinate with Business Analysts and Developers to refine requirements and address interdependencies.

Qualifications

SQL Proficiency: 5+ years of advanced SQL experience (T-SQL and PL/SQL), including writing stored procedures and packages for datamarts.

Tools: Extensive knowledge of modelling tools such as PowerDesigner or Visio, and BI metadata tools like Power BI.

Cloud DevOps: Demonstrated experience within the Azure DevOps environment.

Design Excellence: Proven track record in creating both Functional (FDD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD).

Niche Knowledge (Assets): Familiarity with IBM Cúram (SAMS) and Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF or ArchiMate.
