Job description
Our client, is seeking an agile and tech-forward L&D Designer/Developer II to join their Operational Excellence and Process Engineering group.

In this mid-level hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and modern low-code automation technology. You will act as a core contributor responsible for designing, programming, and deploying data-driven workflows, interactive tools, and automated case management platforms. Acting as an internal technical consultant, you will lead continuous process improvement initiatives, transform raw datasets into intelligent dashboards, and walk internal stakeholders through automated solutions that optimize daily enterprise operations.

Duration: 1-Year Contract

Timeline: July 6, 2026 – July 5, 2027

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week on-site at the corporate office, 1 day remote)

Advantages
High-Impact Automation Ecosystem: Leverage a modern corporate technology stack to build live, automated case management solutions that directly streamline financial operations.

Dual Technical-Business Scope: Blend your passion for data engineering and programming with corporate process analysis and stakeholder facilitation.

Long-Term Strategic Engagement: Secure a stable, foundational 12-month contract within a highly sophisticated tier-1 enterprise environment.

Streamlined Onboarding: Move quickly through an efficient, single-round 45-minute virtual interview loop designed for an immediate project start.

Responsibilities
Hands-on Platform Development: Build, test, and maintain robust business tracking and automated case management solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).

Data Engineering & Modelling: Author clean, efficient SQL queries and Python script components to parse, structure, and manipulate relational data models.

Continuous Process Improvement: Analyze current-state business processes, identify structural inefficiencies or operational bottlenecks, and re-engineer them into streamlined, digital workflows.

Stakeholder Advisory & Demos: Spend approximately 25% of your time facilitating internal meetings. Present automated solutions to business groups and guide non-technical users through automated system interactions.

Dashboarding & Analytics: Design and configure rich, interactive business intelligence summaries inside Power BI, establishing tracking KPIs and data visualizations to inform leadership decision-making.

Legacy System Optimization: Maintain and upgrade existing business tools utilizing advanced desktop automation scripting (such as VBA / macros).

Qualifications
Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional mid-level experience in a hybrid business-technical role, such as a Business Systems Analyst, Process Automation Engineer, or Data Developer.

Low-Code Stack Mastery: Proven, referenceable experience designing applications and custom workflows inside Power Apps or adjacent low-code ecosystems.

Technical Programming Toolkit: Strong working knowledge and development experience utilizing SQL, Python, and VBA.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BBA, Bachelor of Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related equivalent field).

Soft Skills & Attributes: Meticulous attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. An assertive, self-driven team player who can independently "take the reins" of an abstract business requirement and translate it into a structured technical ticket.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Prior professional experience operating within the Financial Services or Banking sectors.

Functional experience with data preparation and analytics automation platforms such as Alteryx.

Demonstrated success operating within a cross-functional squad focused on Agile pipeline delivery.

Summary
If you are a tech-savvy Developer or Automation Analyst who excels at untangling manual business processes, writing custom SQL/Python queries, and crafting elegant applications in Power Apps, this 12-month hybrid assignment offers the perfect canvas. Bring your analytical mindset, data modeling discipline, and proactive communication style to a market-leading financial team today!
