Sr. Line Cook

Rebel Creek Golf Course

Location: Petersburg, Ontario, Canada

Department: Hospitality

Reports To: Chef and Sous Chef

Classification: FT Positions Available - Seasonal

Wage: $21 - $23 - Based on Experience

Summary

This position is responsible for the efficient operations of all kitchen systems, a positive atmosphere, and a lasting impression to all guests with our highest standards in taste, presentation and consistency of our menu items.

Rebel Creek Golf Course is looking for an outgoing and responsible individual that would like to be part of a hospitality team in a fast paced environment. Working with the team will prove to be both enjoyable and rewarding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the chef you will execute assigned duties as required, including prep, cooking, deep cleans…ect
  • Promote a positive “teamwork” environment.
  • Perform all line and prep duties with competency and efficiency
  • Cohesively work with the rest of the BOH team.
  • Promoting a safe, clean sanitary working environment.
  • Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Opening/Closing and side duties as per the Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the highest level of food safety.
  • Consistently following kitchen standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a positive and committed “Go above and beyond” attitude.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of line cooking experience required
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Weekend availability is required (Saturday, Sunday)
  • Valid Food handlers certificate required
  • Ability to work in face paced high pressure environment
