Job descriptionAssemble and install formwork for suspended slabs using timber, plywood, steel panels, or modular systems Installation, modification, and maintenance of temporary hoardings, ensuring they meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and / or other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 ESC Fall Protection Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry Minimum 3 years of experience working with Suspended Slab Formwork on commercial or infrastructure projects Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions

Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking local Journeyperson Carpenters with Suspended Slab Formwork experience for work at our MNP Sports Center in Calgary, AB.
- Schedule : Monday - Friday
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
