Job description
Are you a visual storyteller who can also weave magic with words? Our client, a leading retail media powerhouse, is looking for a versatile Digital Content Designer to join their collaborative content strategy team. This role is perfect for a proactive designer who excels at bridging the gap between high-impact visuals and engaging copy. You will play a vital role in executing brand-aligned creative assets that drive performance across various digital and social platforms

Advantages
High-Visibility Impact: Your work will support major vendor partnerships and appear across diverse onsite and offsite digital channels.

Collaborative Culture: Work within a dynamic ecosystem involving marketing, creative services, and retail media teams.

Skill Expansion: While focusing on design, you will also flex your copywriting and copy-editing muscles, making you a well-rounded digital creator.

Modern Work Environment: Enjoy a hybrid "Location Flex" arrangement that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities
Education: A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in digital/graphic design or content production.

Design Tools: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required; experience with After Effects is a strong asset.

Content Skills: Proficiency in copywriting and/or editing for digital content is mandatory.

Language: Expert-level English grammar and proofreading skills. Proficiency in French is considered a significant asset.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with digital ad specifications, responsive design, and social platform best practices.

Qualifications
Design Execution: Adapt, resize, and build creative assets for social media, display ads, and onsite banners while strictly adhering to brand guidelines.

Content Creation: Write or edit light copy for headlines, captions, and posts, ensuring the brand voice remains consistent across all campaigns.

Technical Compliance: Ensure all static and animated assets meet technical specs and platform requirements.

Campaign Collaboration: Partner with media teams to translate campaign objectives into effective visual executions for vendor partnerships.

Quality & Workflow: Manage asset intake, version control, and internal QA processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.

Summary
The Digital Content Designer is a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. By combining technical design expertise with strong linguistic skills, you will ensure that every digital asset—from a simple banner to a complex social post—is polished, professional, and performant. If you are a proactive problem-solver ready to take initiative on design decisions, we want to hear from you.
