Coordinator, Recruitment Operations!Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment, the primary responsibility of this position is to leverage the student relationship management system, Slate, to support recruitment, admissions, and conversion. The position is responsible for communicating to multiple target audiences (parents, guidance counsellors, prospective, students, and admitted students) by developing and implementing a multi-faceted communications plan. The role supports the achievement of enrolment goals and contributes to the university’s reputation. In addition, the position establishes performance metrics and accountability measures to monitor effectiveness and progress toward enrolment objectives.
The Coordinator, Recruitment Operations, is also a Slate expert, with responsibility for understanding system functionality when it comes to communications, running and interpreting queries, creating and modifying admission letters, and designing, managing, and optimizing domestic recruitment communications and drip campaigns. The role will also develop, manage, and maintain complex data queries within Slate to support communications, reporting, and outreach efforts.The Coordinator will also be required to assist the Recruitment team with the planning and execution of recruitment-related events (ex: Open House and Admission on the Spot events). This may require some infrequent travel.
What You’ll Do: - Developing a plan to use Slate to communicate with students from initial contact to registration.
- Establishing metrics for communications, analyzing these metrics, and strategizing based on results.
- Ensure the prospective student and Registrar’s Office webpages are accurate, current, and student‑focused by writing and editing content, designing layouts, and performing ongoing testing and improvements.
- Organizing and supervising email, text message, and phone campaigns to attract and convert prospective students.
- Ensuring that emails, text messages, and admissions letters are error-free preserve the University of Regina’s reputation, and fit within the visual identity standards.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and appropriate segmentation of target audiences
- Taking the lead on project management for small recruitment publications, which consists of identifying which publications need to be updated, gathering or creating updated content, and working with a third-party designer to ensure they are updated correctly and meet visual identity guidelines.

What You’ll Bring to this Position: - 4 year undergraduate degree.
- 3 years of related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role: - Strong knowledge of the U of R – programs, admission requirements, scholarships, new developments, University policies, etc.
- Comprehensive grasp of strategic enrolment theory, encompassing the student’s progression from prospect to graduation.
- Experience delivering presentations in-person and virtually.
- Proven strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making
- Comprehensive expertise in communication trends
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive command of technical tools and software systems such as Slate, Banner, UR Docs, Caspur, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
