We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a close-knit team at a facility in Gloucester. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with cutting-edge equipment, contribute to a strong safety culture, and play a key part in keeping operations running efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll ensure reliable operations through both preventative and corrective maintenance, including:

• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
• Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Maintaining and servicing:
  • CNC machines (mills, presses, boring mills)
  • Motors, conveyors, pumps, and control systems
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving control system issues using PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Working with systems such as Siemens, Fanuc, and Fagor
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Completing clear and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Supporting mechanical repairs, installations, and basic fabrication as needed
• Collaborating with maintenance and production teams while also working independently
• Participating in daily QDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity) meetings
• Maintaining a strong focus on safe work practices and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Red Seal Electrician Certification (SkilledTradesBC)
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Hands-on experience with Siemens, Fanuc, and/or Fagor systems
• Solid knowledge of motors, drives, and industrial control systems
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A solutions-focused mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments

Nice-to-Have (Assets)

• FSR B ticket
• Electrical engineering background or education
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Installation and commissioning experience
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems

Work Environment & Schedule

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:15 AM – 2:30 PM
• Overtime: Available as needed
• Team: Small, collaborative maintenance team (5 people)
• Environment: Indoor, heavy industrial facility with advanced equipment
• Travel: Occasional (approx. once per year)
