Work in an air-conditioned facility with permanent full-time employment, including benefits and a pension plan. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking a stable, long-term career.

• Starting Pay: $28.28/hour (increase to $29.36 when passing probation, $30.60 / hour when able to operate equipment unassisted).
• Benefits: Full benefits and RRSP available after 3 months.
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts on a 2-week rotation of days and nights (7am- 7pm/ 7pm - 7am).
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
• Strong commitment to learning a trade and building a career.

Responsibilities
• Operator must be flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
• Perform job set-ups, adjustments, startups, and shutdowns in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures
• Adjust the operating speed of machinery to meet optimal targets set by the company
• Monitor/ inspect/report safely, film quality, production, and equipment condition
• Report findings to the Supervisor or Specialist and work with them to resolve any cause of the defect


Qualifications
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, in reading, writing, and basic math
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or similar industry preferred - press operator background
• Will also train for blow film extrusion, multilayer extrusion
• Basic knowledge and hands-on press
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
