Job description

Job Responsibilities

As a Cabinet Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality cabinetry and related components according to company standards and production requirements.

Duties may include:

  • Using hand tools and power tools to assemble cabinet components and finished products
  • Reading work orders, assembly drawings, and production instructions
  • Measuring and verifying materials for accuracy and quality
  • Installing hardware, hinges, handles, and other cabinet components
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workstation
  • Reporting product defects, equipment concerns, or safety issues to supervisors
  • Following company safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Assisting other departments as needed to support production goals

Qualifications

  • Previous experience using hand tools and power tools is an asset
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred
  • Previous cabinet making, woodworking, carpentry, or construction experience is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to read measuring tapes and complete accurate measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity
  • CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear required
