One of our client is looking for a CNC Operator at Brantford , ON region for their facility.
Shift : Friday noon to 6 : 00 p.m., and from Saturday to Monday from 6 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m.
Pay Rate : $24 / hr - $26 / hr
Key Responsibilities :
Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or grinders) to produce parts as per specifications.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during the machining process.
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production and minimize waste.
Perform routine maintenance checks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts, using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure adherence to tolerances.
Troubleshoot issues with the CNC machinery and work with the maintenance team to resolve any mechanical problems.
Keep accurate records of production runs and machine maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in CNC machining or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience operating CNC machines.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and CAD models.
Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
