Job ID JOS2127 Starting base salary: $85-$115K CAD Summary The Woodworking Technician / CAD Detailer position works directly with Production & Project Management to deliver detailed drawings that are engineered for the shop to produce, focusing on comprehensiveness and accuracy. You will be trained to draw according to our standards and eventually take responsibility for detailing full drawings used for production. The candidate must confirm details such as finishes, dimensions, and hardware, integrating them into the drawings. You will collaborate closely with a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Company's Director of Operations. Responsibilities Knowledge and proficiency in Inventory / Solidworks is mandatory; AutoCAD 2D is considered an asset. Knowledge of various materials used in the store fixture industry (e.g., wood, metal, acrylic, glass) is essential. Creating fully detailed shop drawings from architects' or designers' drawings and renderings, including breakout drawings for ordering metal, glass, acrylic, etc. Requirements Some theoretical and working knowledge of tolerances, material substrates such as glass, stone, metal, acrylic. High-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or similar 3D software. Background in custom millwork, cabinetry, and/or industrial design. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment under deadlines. Understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and methods. Experience in detailing store fixtures is considered a BIG Plus! Minimum 3 years or more as a millwork detailer or engineer. Ability to review architectural drawings and interpret Competent in reading schematics and blueprints.
