YOUR DAY TO DAY:
We are actively seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplined design engineering team. Our ideal candidate has a strong engineering design background with proven experience of analog and digital circuit design. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO:
Design & Development
- Support the design and testing of high-voltage circuits for medical and satellite communication systems
- Assist in high-voltage and power electronics design, including power supplies and bias networks
- Participate in schematic design, PCB layout support, and prototype bring-up
Testing & Analysis
- Perform power and high-voltage measurements using standard lab equipment
- Conduct engineering lab testing (, alternate components, field issue investigations)
- Assist with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and evaluation of test data
Project & Engineering Support
- Support cross-functional engineering tasks as needed across departments
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on project planning: Gather documentation for project bids Collect cost data for budgeting Assist in preparing technical proposals (internal and external) Help develop project schedules using Microsoft Project
Documentation & Compliance
- Create and review Engineering Investigation Reports (EIRs)
- Contribute to technical documentation, test procedures, and reports
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) on regulatory submissions, including documentation and EMC testing
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support compliance testing activities
Customer & Stakeholder Interaction
- Support customer needs in collaboration with field service representatives
- Participate in customer interactions and provide field support when required
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Understanding of analog and mixed-signal (analog/digital) control circuits
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Experience with electronic test equipment (, multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes
- Strong hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge
- Must be able to meet CGP requirements.
