Hello! We are a family based on the peninsula of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and am looking for a part-time nanny for our 17-month old son.
I recently returned to work and am doing shift work Monday to Friday (6am-2pm, or 1-9pm in two week or one month rotations). My partner travels some evenings for work so we are looking for a reliable nanny to help bridge the gap when he is away and I am working evenings.
My son is currently in daycare until approximately 4 p.m., so we are seeking someone who can pick him up, feed him supper, and do the nightly routine with him until I return home. If the candidate was willing and able, ideally we’d also have them work some mornings from 6-9am when my partner is away and I am working mornings. (This would mean the nanny would be essentially doing the morning routine and just dropping them off at daycare.)
If either of these options work for you (before or after daycare), we’d love to hear from you! This posting is perfect for someone who is seeking part time work or for some additional hours each week.
