Job Description

As the Tim's Horton's Baker at Redeemer University you will support the team baking fresh delicious baked goods to the students and staff working on campus. Reporting to the Tim Horton's Supervisor or the designate you will work Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm

What You'll Do
• Prepare and bake a variety of quality baked goods and food items according to production
guidelines and standardized recipes
• Set up workstations with the required ingredients, equipment, and supplies
• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients for production
• Operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment
• Safely use kitchen tools and utensils, including knives
• Follow Tim Hortons operating procedures and product preparation standards
• Properly store food and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Support teammates and assist with other duties as required
• Deliver friendly service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, customers, and
co-workers
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures

• Previous baking or food service experience is considered an asset, but training will be provided
to the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
• Basic knowledge of baking methods, food safety, sanitation, and storage practices
• Ability to obtain required food safety certification(s)
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
