Senior / Lead .NET Backend API Developer

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire Lead .NET Backend API Developer immediately who has experience in .NET Core, API and Azure cloud services.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead .NET Backend API Developer to join our healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable backend APIs using Microsoft .NET and extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. This role involves leading design discussions, driving best practices, ensuring high-quality engineering standards, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using .NET and Azure services.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability backend systems for healthcare applications.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Implement event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus and Event Hub.
• Develop serverless components using Azure Function Apps and manage workflows using Azure Data Factory.
• Configure and optimize application hosting on Azure App Services.
• Integrate and manage Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure Redis Cache.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and diagnostics using Azure Application Insights.
• Ensure secure application development by managing secrets in Azure Key Vault.
• Deploy and manage background processes using Azure Web Jobs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.

The pay range for this role is $100,000- $115,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate. This job is open for contract as well with a pay range of CAD 60-65 / hr (max.).
