Job description

Adecco is currently seeking an Assembly Coordinator / Expeditor in Ajax, ON , offering a salary of $24-$27 per hour. This exciting opportunity is within the Aerospace Manufacturing industry, where you will work closely with the Assembly Planning Manager to prioritize and support the recovery plans for the delivery of Landing Gear assemblies. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth coordination and timely delivery of critical parts while collaborating with multiple departments to meet customer demands.

Pay rate : $24-$27 / hour.
Location : Ajax, ON
Shifts : Monday-Thursday 7 : 30am -4 : 30pm and Friday 7 : 30am-12 : 30pm
Job type : 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities :

Liaise between all departments to ensure a robust plan is created and met to achieve the best delivery date for landing gear assemblies.

Work closely with the Assembly Program Planner to forecast and schedule work while ensuring sufficient capacity in both equipment and personnel.

Collaborate with internal customers and suppliers such as Finance, Human Resources, and Quality to support seamless operations.

Assist the Planning team and Assembly Team Leader with analysis and communication of drop-dead deliverables.

Ensure the availability of critical parts in coordination with other departments.

Work with Procurement, Machine Shop, and PPMs to expedite critical parts and keep the Assembly schedule on track.

Notify the Program team of any schedule changes or impacts to customers regarding Drop Dead Dates.

Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program.

Update and improve administrative tools and reports to reduce non-value-added work.

Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

2 years of experience in a coordinator role in a manufacturing facility.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP applications.

College diploma (preferred).

Ability to pass a criminal record check and controlled goods application.
