Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role is ideal for experienced forklift operators who thrive in high-volume operations, prioritize safety, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Location: Ajax, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities:
Forklift Operations & Material Handling
Safely operate dual and quad forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment.
Load, unload, move, and stage products efficiently and accurately.
Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining product quality.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, food safety standards, and SQF procedures.
Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment safety checks.
Maintain compliance with quality and operational standards.
Warehouse Operations
Support warehouse, production, and inventory movement activities.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.
Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build positive working relationships across departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or production environment.
Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience.
Valid forklift certification required.
Experience operating dual or quad forklifts is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory movement, and transport packaging.
Understanding of food safety, SQF, or quality standards is an asset.
Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles is an asset.
Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
