Job Description

We are currently in search of a highly skilled carpenter who possesses a comprehensive understanding of diverse carpentry techniques. The ideal candidate for this position will be characterized by diligence, reliability, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Hours

40 hours per week

Salary

Salary to be discussed based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Framing, installing floor, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems.
• Fitting and installing window frames, trim, doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
• Repairing and renovating wooden structures.
• Utilize a range of hand and power tools proficiently to complete tasks efficiently.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and project managers to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed. Cleans up worksite debris.
